Terms and conditions
- An administration fee of a minimum of R850-00(VAT incl.) for cars &R1500-00 (VAT incl) for trucks, will be charged on any salvage vehicle sold.
- All vehicles licensing fees will be for the account of the purchaser, also referred to as the customer.
- Should any additional costs incur, this will be discussed with customer.
- All customers are required to check that all paperwork and invoices are correct and accurate.
- GT Salvage offer no guarantee on any vehicle purchased as they are accident damaged or stolen and recovered.
- All vehicles are sold ‘voetstoets’
- Spare keys, Year models and codes cannot be guaranteed.
- Any vehicle purchased is not paid in full within the agreed time frame, Will result in the customers holding deposit being forfeited and the vehicle will be resold.
- Under no circumstances will any exchanges on any deal be allowed.
- A valid South African ID must be produced in order to proceed with the change of ownership of the vehicle.
- The onus is on the customer to arrange collection of the vehicle.
- Should the purchaser cancel the sale, the seller reserves the right to retain 50% of the holding deposit for admin cost re-advertising. Minimum Deposit required is 25% of selling price.
- Any vehicle purchased must be collected within 5 working days after outstanding balance has been paid in full, failing which GT Salvage reserves the right to charge a storage fee of R380-00 per a day.
- Please note that with all the fraud and corruption going on, Should you have purchased a salvage vehicle that has been duplicated, GT Salvage will endeavour to assist you however, Should GT Salvage not be successful, GT Salvage will not be held liable and no refund will be entertained.
- GT Salvage under no circumstance will accept any cash. All payments are to be made either via EFT, Direct bank deposit or bank guaranteed cheque. Proof of deposit must be either faxed to 086 762-8972 or emailed to nelson@gtsalvage.co.za
- GT Salvage endeavours to obtain the original NATIS documents as soon as possible, however we have no control over this matter as settlement of claims may be delayed by the insurance companies due to investigation etc. The customer accepts that NATIS documents may take minimum of 4-6 weeks before receipt thereof.
- Please read this contract carefully, this contract is binding agreement between you and GT Salvage. By signing the T&C and the Bill of Sale, You are acknowledging that you have read the terms and conditions above inclusive of the Terms and Conditions on the Bill of Sale, and that you accept and are bound by them.
